Here is a tip to beat this, worry about the smelters that attack you, they are the ones to worry about.

That worked at first but those little smelters kept coming up behind me and setting me on fire. I really don't like those smelters lol. One of them, I am not sure which, likes throwing grenades over the top of the shack on top of me too. I never did figure out where the sniper was that kept hitting me.

Facing the direction they are spawning from, I hid behind the shack to the right close to the building and you can more or less constantly fire / kill those coming around the corner or pop your head out for a bit.
