Unfortunately, The stats on these are the same as the one that you can buy at the secret vendor. Which according to the official Trion announcement, The stats were to have been modified.

If you preordered Defiance and have the red Dodge, DON'T WASTE YOUR SCRIP ON THESE. They're all slower than the red Dodge is.

Another tip would be, if you can't get the first gate to register, don't boost until you are through it.

So, this is why we as players should demand full paper manuals for any and all games. So that we don't feel like idiots when we figure out things that we should be told at the beginning.
Such as "when you go through one of the rings, your boost resets." I've been conserving boost on these things like an idiot.
