Lost in Terraformation is a Side Mission mission found in Mount Tam.

This is a damn mess. The terraforming is more severe than anyone realized, so none of our navigation or geographical intel is relevant. Von Bach's team brought a mapping device called a Wave Surveyor that bounces signals between the tempesphere and the surface of the Earth. Your EGO device can locate things us "regulars" can't, so look around and see if you can find that damn thing.
