Thanks for the comments, I can't guarentee fun with the boring data and I'm not so creative, however I can write some tools which I hope the community can use these purposes. I created a Guides section so that people could write their own stuff.

I'm currently thinking about some sort of Soapbox section, where people write articles with their opinions. I keep my opinions out of most news posts to remain neutral, but if I have a section for opinions that might be enough seperation.

I want to cater for both, I might have to have some sort of a gate at the front. Also as a pririoty make the whole New Player Guide much better.

I really have this as my no 1 Defiance site. Infact, i come here to check on news and updates before the actual official defiance homepage/forums. So its only natural for me to at least make a comment about the future work on this amazing site.

Personally i find this very interesting:

• Enhance the trading section
• Run a data collection project on each weapon model to determine DMG values at each level
• Create a wishlist of weapons with rolls and synergies and masterie
• Create a link sharing service with a DD url that people can share links in game without typing it all out e.g. defiancedata.com/r/1 or defiancedata.com/t/nano

Those 4 categories goes hand in hand imo and are good tools to promote ingame.
Long have we wanted a more advanced trading function that what the game currently offers, and this
has great potential to be a very useful service. 

• Create a mobile site

If the 4 above mentioned site sections are enhanced then a mobile version would be good to visit and 
check your trading notifications to keep up to date with. (or even a small app for this)

• Enhance Synergies page to list faction synergies

Not as important but it could be good for the guide section. Shouldnt be a priority atm however.

I really like what I've seen so far and what great ideas posted below!

Information, fun, creativity and low levels of drama are what bring me back to a site.

information -- don't over complicate and bog down with calculations, percentages and mumbo jumbo.... always keep it simple.

fun and creativity -- contests, opinions, jokes, artwork, interviews, rumor mill, community input

low levels of drama -- self explanatory

Love the page, come here almost every day. My $0.02c:

1) I'd like to see more of your opinions and the opinions of the community on everything that's posted on the website. For example, I'm in doubt whether I purchase or not the season pass, because I feel like only 2 of the 5 DLCs are really worthy it. I'd like to see what the community thinks of these DLCs, investment-wise. And since we're going F2P now, this kind of economics driven questions should pop up ever more often. It could be a simple comment from yourself, after a new article is posted, giving us your view on the article, DLC, new missions, everything. That would start a thread. Or a review system, like sites such as GameSpot use to have. I'd love that;

2) After the changes that "nerfed" Tier 2 Lockboxes, I'm growing wary of statistics projects. Once the community determines that "Item X is a good bang for the buck", word gets around, Trion nerfs it. So, I'm not against it, but I'd like to leave this warning here;

3) Also, I don't know if that's possible, but I'd love if every time you mention that "Item X costs Y Bits" that you could include the value in dollars alongside it, as if purchased by the base value (without discount)

4) Finally, I play Defiance from Brazil, on a PS3, on the NA Server. I'd love to fnd other players on my age group and region (40+). So, if you can provide a "Meet and Greet" section on your site, so that players can post their in game names, with some data, asking to be part of a clan, group, friends, whatever, that would be great. It could be filtered by all of these dimensions, so anyone could find generic, yet still useful data, about each other.

BTW, I'm "SanCarioca" in Defiance PS3 NA Server, and I always group invite friends inside Major or Minor Arkfalls (the few times I can reach them in time, anyway)

@whiteknight thanks for the reply, to touch on a few of your suggestions:

• Page devoted to community stuff, definitely want to do this I've already created a Community section, and will be working on enhancing things for this
• There is small amount of trading support, I allow users to create weapon images, and store images they can post on forums. This should be expanded to use DD as a marketplace in the future.
• Arkforge service, I hadn't heard of so putting that in a written format is a good idea
• Lockbox data collection, any input is welcome. Not just on the Tiered lockboxes I want to cover every lockbox in game, for some I need to set up properly and will need comments as to how many items to allow etc.
• Emergencies are for the most part already in

I'd like to see a page devoted to some community ran things, like the Buying, Trading, Sharing market of Mods, Weapons, and "Arkforge" services. I spent most of the morning trying to find how to purchase or trade Arkforge from other players when in fact it was a Player Driven Service where one had to put up cash and the weapon in order for it to be Forged by another player with said Arkforge.

Also, a tutorial on how to call down Arkfalls. After going to an area, I found out that a player can only call down an Arkfall after they had completed some in game tasks. i did not know this and thought i could call it down immediately.

I'm also going to start helping with the Lockbox projects. me and my clan mates have been getting as many boxes as we can and would like to contribute to the project.

Also maybe a list of emergencies as well as a breakdown of what occurs at said emergency.

I do love this site, as a returning player of a year long hiatis, this site has been really helpful getting me back into the game. I left right after the Casti Charge pack came out for other games and a baby, then picked it up again a month ago using this site as a tool.

Really, i think your priorities should depend on whether you want to cater to newer F2P players or veterans. Most of the things that i would want to see fully implemented i'm sure the vets could care less about. Such as

• Add full Sieges data
• Add full arkfalls data
• Add full incursions data

Now the Enhance Synergies page to list faction synergies sounds like something i would love to read and the weapon wishlist sounds like it could be fun as well. Also, the trading section could be something that helps extend the life of the game and this site as well.

Do note though, that i have only been playing for a week or so, and my opinions should not really be taken that seriously. I do enjoy this game and consider this site essential. And just yesterday i invested in a complete collectors edition box, so i plan on sticking around for as long as possible, but am a newcomer and not yet fully versed in all things Defiance.

Oh, and the user gallery could be fun, i am a total screenshot whore!
