This patch added the welcome screen and support for season 3 tv show codes.

Welcome Screen

We've added a new welcome screen to keep players up to date with the latest happenings in Defiance and on the Defiance store!

Season Three Codes

• We've created codes that can be added to your account to claim unique rewards for watching the Defiance TV show! You can find these codes by watching the show, and enter them at http://www.trionworlds.com/defiance/en/game/ego-codes/
• Added a special TV Tie-in pursuit where players will get special rewards for entering all 13 codes for the season 3 event!

Game Update

General

• Ark Keys are now on Contracts.
• Expedition related Contracts for VBI, Top Notch, Soleptor and Paradise now all have updated text stating they are part of an expedition.
• Using a melee attack while charging a weapon now interrupts the charge progress instead of allowing players to hold onto full charge forever.

Bit Store and Services

• There are now Patron only Daily & Weekly Contracts!
• There are two newLockboxes available on the store:
  • New Synergy Lockbox: Souleater: Spinal Tap Crate. This lockbox will have a brand new exclusive synergy that will change every month, and include a new Jackpot weapon with that synergy every two weeks. This rotating limited time lockbox will include 1 epic or better weapon (with a high chance at legendary) and 3 mods for the exclusive synergy (with a chance at a legendary mod!). First jackpot image shown below.New Premium Elite Lockbox: This lockbox will be replacing the Elite lockbox on the store. It has a lower bit price, but a high increase in legendary loot chance, and double the chance at the current Elite lockbox jackpot item!

Cyber Rig and Chips

• Any Cyber Rigs in your inventory list can now be viewed and modified, not just the currently equipped Rig.
• Items that grant Silicon Shards (Cyber Rigs and Cyber Chips) can now be cleaned up with the Mass Breakdown option.
• The Inspect screen now shows the stats of the inspected player's equipped Cyber Rig.

Salvage Matrix

• Fixed a bug causing the right-click Salvage Matrix to sometimes be missing options.
• The Retrieve Mods option in the full Salvage Matrix now shows the synergy of the attached mods when you click View
• Fix for the wrong text displayed in the confirmation popup for Retrieve Mods.
• Fixed a bug causing the Attach Mods confirmation to always say it will overwrite a mod, even if it's in a different slot.
