Dlc5 added about 450 xp to the bar and I think that may only be if you have the paid Dlc. Not sure there. But you will still need to do pursuits to reach max ego, and yes there is an ego cap. Btw...

Recorders should NEVER be the main part of Episodic or Dlc missions. I get people like lore, but that content should add actual missions and cutscenes. If they want to scatter a few new recorders...

It's just another episodic mission. One of those on your map with a star. They are never that long and always have atleast a couple recorders that you need to pick up.

As others have mentioned, Patch 1.510 deployed yesterday afternoon. The Cradle to Grave crossover missions were activated at 12:00 PM Pacific, unrelated to the patch.
